Adaptive Reading Support is an individualized reading program designed for children who benefit from a more personalized and flexible approach than traditional tutoring. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all curriculum, each session is tailored to the child's unique strengths, learning style, communication abilities, processing needs, and pace. Our instructors use evidence-based, multisensory teaching strategies that engage visual, auditory, and hands-on learning to help children develop foundational reading skills while building confidence and independence.

This program is specifically designed to support children with diverse learning needs, including autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, dyslexia, ADHD, language disorders, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, and other learning differences. At the same time, Adaptive Reading Support is open to any child who benefits from individualized instruction, extra encouragement, or a teaching approach that adapts to their unique way of learning.

Instruction is intentionally flexible and may include explicit phonics instruction, phonological awareness, decoding, fluency, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, executive functioning supports, visual supports, movement-based learning, sensory accommodations, and positive behavior strategies when appropriate. Lessons are paced to maximize success while minimizing frustration, allowing children to experience meaningful progress in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Our goal is not only to improve reading skills, but also to foster confidence, motivation, and a love of learning. We believe that every child is capable of becoming a successful reader when instruction is adapted to meet their individual needs. Instead of expecting every learner to fit one teaching style, we adapt our teaching to fit each learner—helping every child reach their fullest potential at their own pace.
