Sheli Coyle, M. Ed, LDT, CALT

Licensed Dyslexia Therapist + Certified Academic Language Therapist

MEET SHELI

I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT), a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist through the state of Texas, and a proud member of the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA). With a Bachelor of Science in Education from Louisiana State University and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University–Commerce, I bring both strong academic preparation and deep practical experience to my work with students.

Over the past 19 years, I have dedicated my career to education- spending 7 years as an elementary school teacher and the last 12 years specializing as a dyslexia therapist. I am trained in several evidence-based programs, including Multisensory Teaching Approach (MTA), Alphabetic Phonics, and Take Flight.

I live in Forney, Texas, with my husband, and we are proud parents to three grown sons and a daughter-in-law. One of my sons is dyslexic and recently graduated from nursing school—an experience that fuels my passion for helping students with dyslexia overcome challenges and realize their full potential.

I believe every child can succeed with the right support, and I am committed to helping students build confidence, develop literacy skills, and thrive academically and beyond.
