ABOUT CHRISTY

Hi! I am Christy! I am currently in my Clinical Fellowship year as a Speech Language Pathologist. I grew up in Arlington, Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I received my Master's in Communication Disorders from West Coast University in Los Angeles, California. Previously, I was an Elementary School Teacher in the Arlington Independent School District and the Fort Worth Independent School District. I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, Fourth Grade, and Sixth Grade. I have been married to my college sweetheart for 10 years, and we have a 4-year-old son, Jacob, and a 7-year-old daughter, Madeline. We have lived in Aledo for 2 years and love the community's small-town feel. In my spare time, I love traveling with my family to the mountains and the beaches. I also love playing Mahjong and reading. I feel very blessed to continue working with children and their families as I begin my new career as a Speech Language Pathologist.
